In my studio in Amana, Iowa, I use only Copper, Brass, and Stainless Steel, mounted on steel posts so they will last a lifetime, even outdoors.  I color with Heat, Acid Patinas, and Airbrushing.  I double coat every piece with poly-urethane and Oven-Bake it, this process will protect your sculpture for a lifetime.
